The Leesburg Yellow Jackets baseball team (Leesburg, FL), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL)

The Knights now hold a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleview for a 5A District 6 outing on Thursday, March 7. Vanguard will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Taylor County (Perry, FL). The Rattlers record now stands at 4-1.

Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Belleview Rattlers (Belleview, FL) in a 5A District 6 outing, on Thursday, March 21. Leesburg will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record.
