March 5, 2024: North Miami, FL 33161 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the North Miami Pioneers (North Miami, FL) and the visiting Booker T. Washington Tornadoes (Miami, FL), saw North Miami's volleyball squad beat Booker T. Washington by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, North Miami upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Westland Hialeah (Hialeah, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 7. The Tornadoes now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Dr. Krop for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 7. Booker T. Washington will play a Lightning squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Reagan (Doral, FL). The Lightning record now stands at 0-1.
