March 5, 2025: Mt. Airy, GA 30563 The Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) baseball the host Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA), 14-11 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hart County for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. Jefferson will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
With the defeat, Habersham Central drops to 6-5 on the year. The Raiders travel to Clarke Central (Athens, GA) to clash with the Gladiators in a 5A Area 8 challenge on Friday, March 7. The Gladiators go into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Clarke Central lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA)
