The Deer River Warriors (Deer River, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Hill City Hornets (Hill City, MN), 87-45 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 23-2 record. They play next when they host South Ridge for a A Section 7 bout on Saturday, March 8. Deer River will play a Panthers team coming off a 77-57 league win over Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida (Cloquet, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 18-8.
With the loss, Hill City falls to 9-14 on the campaign.
