March 5, 2025: Conroe, TX 77385 New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Oak Ridge War Eagles (Conroe, TX), 6-3 in a league game.
With the triumph, New Caney upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Eagles host Grand Oaks (Spring, TX) to play the Grizzlies in a 6A Region II District 13 game on Friday, March 7. The Grizzlies enter the game with a record of 12-3.
The War Eagles now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Conroe for a 6A Region II District 13 game on Friday, March 7. Oak Ridge will play a Tigers squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.
