In Thursday's non-league bout, the Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ), by a tally of 16-5.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 6. Apollo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 19-0 non-league win over Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ).

With the defeat, Dobson drops to 1-5 on the year. The Mustangs host West Point (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 6. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. West Point won 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ)
