In Thursday's non-league bout, the Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) baseball squad the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), by a score of 7-2.

The Red Raiders now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ardmore for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 6. Decatur will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Athens (Athens, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
