Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Dreher Blue Devils (Columbia, SC), 11-10 in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumter for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 10. Spring Valley will confront a Gamecocks team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC). The Gamecocks record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Dreher moves to 0-2 on the season. The Blue devils host Camden (Camden, SC) to confront the Bulldogs in a AAAA Region 3 battle on Tuesday, March 10.
