In Thursday's league match, the visiting Dreher Blue Devils softball team scored a nice 18-7 win over the South Pointe Stallions.

With the triumph, Dreher upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Blue Devils host Airport (West Columbia, SC) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, March 20. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 4-5. Airport lost 13-2 in their recent league game against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC)

The Stallions now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host York for a AAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, March 24. South Pointe will play a Cougars squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-6.
