In Thursday's non-league game, the host Pinnacle Pioneers softball squad scored a good 20-1 triumph over the Horizon Huskies.

With the triumph, Pinnacle upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league game on Friday, March 6. The Mountain Lions enter the game with a record of 2-2. Red Mountain won 12-5 in their recent non-league game against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ)

The Huskies now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Mountain for a 5A East Sky game on Friday, March 6. Horizon will play a Wolves squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 6-0.
