March 6, 2024: Tecumseh, KS 66542 The Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS) basketball nipped the host Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS), 72-71 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 23-0 record. In their last test, Maize South got by Great Bend (Great Bend, KS), 61-53, in a non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now own a 19-4 record.
