In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Goodrich Martians basketball team scored a decisive 54-23 triumph over the North Branch Broncos.

In their next game, the Martians meet the Lake Fenton Blue Devils (Linden, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 8. Goodrich will attempt to move on its 23-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 16-6 record after their 60-30 non-league win over Imlay City (Imlay City, MI).

With the defeat, North Branch moves to 12-12 on the year.
