South Dakota High School Basketball - Elk Point-Jefferson toppled by Vermillion
March 6, 2025: Vermillion, SD 57069 Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), 54-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Vermillion advances its record to 18-3 on the year. The Tanagers travel to Lennox (Lennox, SD) to face the Orioles in a non-league match on Friday, March 7. The Orioles enter the match with a record of 17-4. Lennox won 66-28 in their recent non-league match against Canton (Canton, SD)
The Huskies now own a 7-14 record.
