The Willow Canyon Wildcats triumphed over the host Fairfax Stampede softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Willow Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 23-0 non-league win over Youngker (Buckeye, AZ).

The Stampede (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, San Leandro was routed by Kimball (Tracy, CA), 12-11, in a non-league challenge.
