The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX) and the host Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX), observed Farmersville's softball team get by Sulphur Springs by a tally of 2-0.

The Farmers (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Mount Vernon tipped New Diana (Diana, TX), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
