In Thursday's league test, the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 7. Oxford will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MS).

The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their test against DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Jaguars go into the 7A Region 1 test with a 6-1 record.
