The Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Morningside Academy Eagles to 6 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin County for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Lincoln Park Academy will confront a Tigers team coming off a 18-4 non-league loss to Jupiter (Jupiter, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Morningside Academy moves to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles host Master's Academy (Vero Beach, FL) to confront the Patriots in a 2A District 8 battle on Monday, March 10.
