In Friday's league game, the host Calhoun Yellow Jackets baseball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Adairsville Tigers.

The Yellow Jackets (9-4) will now prepare for their game against LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Ramblers go into the AAA Region 7 game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, LaFayette by Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 3-0, in a league game.
