The Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) baseball trounced the visiting West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC), 13-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledford for a PAC Seven 4A/5A challenge on Tuesday, March 10. Central Davidson will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.

The Dragons (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Union Grove Christian edged Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
