Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), 23-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Dixon moves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 10. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 2-1. Jacksonville won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)

Next, the Wildcats play the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 9. Richlands will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC).
