In Friday's league test, the Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV), by a tally of 8-0.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Shadow Ridge Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A South - Desert test, on Tuesday, March 10. Palo Verde will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 12-1 league win over Coronado (Henderson, NV).
