The Pine Tree Pirates triumphed over the visiting Chapel Hill Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, March 10. Pine Tree will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 18-1 non-league loss to Hudson (Lufkin, TX).
