The Onalaska Wildcats routed the visiting Chester Yellowjackets softball team by a margin of 16-6 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson-Shiro for a 3A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, March 17.

With the loss, Chester moves to 1-11 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, March 13. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 3-9.
