In Friday's league match, the visiting Early Longhorns softball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Peaster Greyhounds.

Next, the Longhorns play the Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 battle, on Monday, March 9. Early will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 1-12 record after their 26-10 league loss to Eastland (Eastland, TX).
