In Friday's non-league test, the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), by a count of 14-3.

Coming up next, the Pioneers encounter the Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 16. Pinnacle will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Aztecs come into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ).
