In Thursday's league test, the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) softball squad the visiting O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), by a tally of 7-5.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley test, on Tuesday, April 21. Pinnacle will attempt to advance on its 16-7 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the test with a 3-17 record after their 11-1 league loss to Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).

The Eagles (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder go into the non-league test with a 23-3 record. In their last test, Desert Vista held off Cibola (Yuma, AZ), 8-0, in a non-league test.
