The Pinnacle Pioneers softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs to 5 in the Pioneers non-league win on Monday.

The Pioneers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Basha for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 18. Pinnacle will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Corona del Sol moves to 4-4 on the season. The Aztecs host Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Badgers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 18.
