Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Brazos upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Cougars host Ganado (Ganado, TX) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, March 9. The Indians come into the test with a record of 6-2. Ganado won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Wharton (Wharton, TX)

With the defeat, Hitchcock falls to 6-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Anahuac (Anahuac, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, March 10. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Anahuac won 15-0 in their recent league battle against East Chambers (Winnie, TX)
