In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Mathis Pirates.

The Bobcats (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Refugio (Refugio, TX). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region IV District 31 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Refugio tipped Taft (Taft, TX), 4-2, in a non-league game.
