March 7, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35219 Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Greenwave confront the Carver Birmingham Rams (Birmingham, AL) in a 4A Area 9 challenge, on Thursday, March 9. Leeds will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Hueytown (Hueytown, AL).
The Cavaliers now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Luke's Episcopal for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. John Carroll Catholic will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 league win over Bayshore Christian (Fairhope, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
