March 7, 2023: Marietta, GA 30068 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) and the host Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA), saw Lassiter's soccer squad get by Wheeler by a margin of 2-1.
The Trojans now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Alpharetta for a 6A Area 7 test on Friday, March 10. Lassiter will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Wheeler drops to 1-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Cherokee (Canton, GA) to meet the Warriors in a 7A Area 5 test on Friday, March 10. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-4. Cherokee won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA)
