Next, the Greyhounds face the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) in a 6A Area 7 contest, on Friday, February 17. Pope will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA).
The Wildcats now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walton for a 7A Area 5 contest on Friday, February 17. Wheeler will face a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
