February 7, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA), saw Pope's soccer squad get by Walton by a margin of 2-1.
The Greyhounds now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host West Forsyth for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Pope will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Walton drops to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-0. Lassiter won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA)
