March 7, 2023: Marietta, GA 30066 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) and the host Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA), saw Walton's soccer squad knock off Sprayberry by a count of 2-0.
The Raiders now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kennesaw Mountain for a 7A Area 5 test on Friday, March 10. Walton will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Sprayberry drops to 7-2 on the season. The Yellow jackets host Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA) to meet the Titans in a 6A Area 7 test on Friday, March 10. The Titans come into the test with a record of 8-1. Blessed Trinity won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA)
