In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Myers Park Mustangs baseball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves.

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Richmond nudged Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 7-2, in a league game.
