Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Delcambre Panthers (Delcambre, LA), 6-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Welsh moves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Greyhounds host Midland (Midland, LA) to battle the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 11. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 2-2.

The Panthers now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gueydan for a non-league match on Friday, March 7. Delcambre will battle a Bears squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hathaway (Jennings, LA). The Bears record now stands at 3-4.
