The Welsh Greyhounds baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Highland Baptist Christian Bears to 0 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Friday.

The Greyhounds now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delcambre for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Welsh will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-8.

With the defeat, Highland Baptist Christian drops to 6-9 on the year. The Bears host Elton (Elton, LA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, March 7.
