Florence Huskies (Florence, CO) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Park Burros (Fairplay, CO), 20-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Florence moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO) to battle the Marauders in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 12. The Marauders come into the match with a record of 0-3. Mitchell lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Burros now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cripple Creek-Victor for a 1A District 2 match on Saturday, March 22.
