In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Melbourne Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Merritt Island Mustangs.

The Bulldogs (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Viera (Viera, FL). The Hawks go into the 6A District 7 game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Viera was overwhelmed by Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL), 6-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Mustangs play the Space Coast Vipers (Cocoa, FL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 12. Merritt Island will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
