Georgia High School Baseball - Tift County defeats Valdosta
March 7, 2025: Valdosta, GA 31602 The Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) baseball trounced the host Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA), 7-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond Hill for a AAAAAA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Tift County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-6.
With the defeat, Valdosta drops to 7-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Camden County (Kingsland, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a AAAAAA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Camden County lost 10-5 in their recent league challenge against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA)
