The Shiprock Chieftains basketball squad (Shiprock, NM), was crushed 67-28 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM)

With the victory, Portales advances its record to 19-9 on the year. The Rams travel to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Sartans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Sartans enter the battle with a record of 19-8. St. Pius X won 58-41 in their recent non-league battle against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)

The Chieftains now own a 13-16 record.
