Texas High School Soccer - Liberty-Eylau toppled by Sulphur Springs
March 7, 2025: Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Liberty-Eylau Leopards (Texarkana, TX), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Sulphur Springs moves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Paris (Paris, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A Region 2 District 13 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 12-8. Paris won 4-0 in their recent league test against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX)
The Leopards now sport a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pittsburg for a 4A Region 2 District 13 test on Tuesday, March 11. Liberty-Eylau will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 15-4.
