Texas High School Softball - Ball succumbs to Angleton

In Friday's league test, the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Wildcats meet the La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 test, on Tuesday, March 11. Angleton will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 10-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX).

The Tornadoes (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Galena Park prevailed over Milby (Houston, TX), 8-0, in a league test.
