In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Pontotoc Warriors softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Choctaw County Chargers.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Starkville (Starkville, MS). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league match with a 3-4 record.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) in a 3A Region 4 match, on Tuesday, March 18. Choctaw County will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
