The New Hope Trojans softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Pontotoc Warriors to 1 in the Trojans league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette for a 5A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, April 15.

With the loss, Pontotoc moves to 11-8 on the season. The Warriors host Nettleton (Nettleton, MS) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, April 11. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 23-2. Nettleton won 5-0 in their recent league battle against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS)
