Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Early Longhorns (Early, TX), 12-11 in a league game.

With the triumph, Peaster improves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Greyhounds host Dublin (Dublin, TX) to play the Lions in a 3A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, March 11. The Lions enter the game with a record of 5-8.

The Longhorns now hold a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Comanche for a 3A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, March 11. Early will play a Indians squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX). The Indians record now stands at 3-3.
