The Redwater Dragons overwhelmed the host New Boston Lions softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the De Kalb Bears (De Kalb, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge, on Friday, March 14. Redwater will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.

The Lions (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Farmers go into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record.
