In Saturday's non-league game, the host Del Valle Conquistadores baseball team scored a nice 16-5 win over the Fabens Wildcats.

The Conquistadores (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Americas (El Paso, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the 5A Region I District 2 game with a 5-4 record.

Next, the Wildcats play the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 17. Fabens will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Lobos go into the game with a 3-7 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Cathedral (El Paso, TX).
