In Saturday's non-league bout, the Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Resurrection Catholic Eagles (Pascagoula, MS), by a count of 14-1.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tupelo for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 10. Vancleave will clash with a Golden Wave team coming off a 15-2 league win over Hernando (Hernando, MS). The Golden Wave record now stands at 7-3.
