Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS) and the host Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS), observed Vancleave's baseball squad overcome Stone by a final score of 11-8.

With the triumph, Vancleave moves its record to 12-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host East Central (Moss Point, MS) to confront the Hornets in a 5A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 7. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 12-11. East Central won 6-3 in their recent league battle against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS)

Next, the Tomcats face the Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) in a 5A Region 4 battle, on Tuesday, April 7. Stone will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 11-10 record after their 5-0 league win over Purvis (Purvis, MS).
